Andrés López Ponce
Andrés founded Lopez Media GmbH in 2017 with the vision of creating an optimal working environment for creatives in Berlin. Since 2005, he has been working as a film editor on multiple formats such as documentaries, shows, reality TV, feature films and series.
"The story comes first!" is his guiding principle here. He describes himself as an open, communicative and solution-oriented team player. In addition to his enthusiasm for post-production, Andrés is excited to explore original forms of audiovisual storytelling, innovative production methods, and new business collaborations.
COLORIST
ERIC GIESE
After more than 10 years working as a post-production supervisor and film editor, Eric decided to dig deeper into the world of color design and completed the unique UP.GRADE course at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). Since then, he has color graded numerous documentaries and TV reports as well as feature films and series. In 2020, he graded his first film in Dolby Vision HDR for ARTE's award-winning format 360º - GEO Reportage. In addition to embracing new technical challenges, Eric is looking for inspiring film projects for which he can develop fresh looks.
Our studio
Every creative needs first-class tools and a positive working atmosphere. We rent out editing suites and grading suites in our studio. Fast workstations, sufficient memory and constant updates are just as important to us as ergonomic chairs, cleanliness, green electricity, Fairtrade coffee, and good humor.
Editing
From multi-cam to mobile phone video – our experienced film editors ensure the best possible edit of everything from journalistic features to artistic film projects.
From the first viewing of raw footage to the final cut, they always have the target audience and the deadline in mind.
COLOR GRADING
Our colorists support you with look concepts, test shoots, and LUTs. We provide advice on optimal workflows and we accompany the shoot with quality checks and pre-grading. For the final grading, we coordinate closely with the departments involved, always keeping an eye on time and budget. After successful approval, we deliver the desired formats.
RENTAL
We rent out two SDR grading suites and two editing suites.
